PRESCRIPTION INFORMATION 

Please be aware that due to current circumstances the practice, and the local pharmacies, are extremely busy at the moment. It is 48 hours for a prescription to be processed at the practice and it can be a further 48 hours at the pharmacy. We would like to advise patients that to ensure they receive their prescription in a timely manner, they should order their repeat prescriptions one week in advance.

 

If you have a

  • continuous cough
  • fever/high temperature (37.8C or greater)
  • loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste (anosmia)

please self isolate in line with national guidance. DO NOT ATTEND the practice. Go to NHSinform online to book a coronovirus test. If you feel your symptoms are severe or you may require hospitalisation please phone the practice. Please check www.nhsinform.scot/coronavirus for latest updates.

Patient Access 

Repeat Prescriptions

newpills2.jpgOn the right hand side of your prescription is a tear-off slip which lists all the regular medications you are taking. To request a repeat prescription you can post this having marked the items you require.  The practice is also happy to take repeat prescription requests by telephone or via Patient Access.

Patient Access enables you to order prescriptions 24/7, forms to register for Patient Access are available from reception, or this website. Your prescription will be collected by the pharmacy of your choice 48 hours after,or returned to you by post if you include a stamped addressed envelope.
