The district nursing team carry out nursing care for housebound patients within the home including palliative care, terminal care and specialist care (e.g. leg ulcer assessment) In addition they carry out two wound care clinics weekly within the surgery.

They can be contacted on 0141 435 5462. There is an answering machine if they are not available.

Health Visitors

Jacqueline Henderson RGN, BSc DN, PgPH/HV., Stephen Nelson RGN.BSc DN.PgPH/HV and Liz McWhinnie RGN.DiPEd/N  The Health Visitor Team incorporate the traditional role of the Health Visitor including advising supporting and visiting new mothers until the child is aged five and beyond, Health Promotion and disease prevention for families (including monitoring of infant development, immunisation and child protection) Community development work including input to projects that are of benefit to the whole practice population.
