Appointments

diary.jpgIn order to obtain medical advice when the surgery is closed, please dial the surgery number: 0141 954 8860. A receptionist in the emergency call centre will answer your call. She will either:

  1. Arrange advice from a doctor or nurse.
  2. Invite you to attend the centre to be seen by the doctor.
  3. Arrange a home visit if you are too ill to visit the centre.

Transport to and from the centre is available if you cannot arrange this yourself. Out of hours cover is now the responsibility of GGNHSB. Further advice and information can also be obtained from NHS 24 Telephone no. 08454 24 24 24

In keeping with Government guidelines we operate an appointment system that allows access to a doctor or nurse within 48hrs.

All surgery consultations are by appointment. Appointments can be made by telephone or in person with the receptionists. If you cannot keep an appointment, please let us know as another patient may need it. Patients who feel that their condition warrants being seen on the day will be seen after surgery.

Please help the receptionists by telling them whether or not your problem is urgent. The surgery is open continuously from 8.30am-6pm. If you require to speak to a doctor, the receptionist will take a note of your details and the doctor will return your call when he/she has finished consulting.
