Canadian Immigration Medicals

This is a private service we run on behalf of the Canadian High Commission for people applying for a Canadian visa.

If you have made an appointment to have your Immigration Medical at the practice, the following information explains what happens on the day.

It is important that you arrive early for your appointment (at least 15 mins) as you will be asked to complete forms before being seen by the doctor.  The doctors have surgeries running straight after your appointment and therefore if you are late they may not be able to see you.

You will be asked to produce a urine sample

The doctor will then carry out the medical and take a sample of blood.

You will then go to the Nuffield Hosptial for your x-ray (the Nuffield is ony a few minutes away and our receptionists can direct you).  The Nuffield is the approved centre for the Canadian High Commission

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
1. Any papers sent to you by the Canadian High Commission

2. Current passport and birth certificate

3. Four passport photographs

4. Any papers you wish to send to the Canadian High Commission
